4warranty Furniture Protection plan program provides three “all-in-one” furniture protection plans. Dealer cost is based upon a flat dollar amount per contract up to the indicated retail amount on the coverage form.
Alternative pricing provides for a percentage of the retail merchandise amount, with a minimum 4WC fee.
The several protection plans vary in coverage and include accidental stain, accidental damage and extended manufacture defects, and are available in 3 and 5 year terms. Many 4WC merchants have elected to utilize the 3 year program as it returns the covered consumer to the marketplace sooner and creates fewer issues for their customer service than 5 year term.
All furniture programs are “dry stain” application; there is a chemical provided to customers for stain removal upon a reported stain claim. There are no chemicals or kits for the merchant to buy and nothing to purchase up front.
